Community Foundation
Community Foundation Boulder County is committed to being a community catalyst for good, alongside donors and partners like us. They believe our community is stronger when all people - women and men, children, older adults, immigrants, people of color, LGBTQ individuals, those with varying abilities and from all faiths - are respected, welcomed, and invited to share their assets and contributions in community building.

Since 1991, the Community Foundation has granted more than $100M to local nonprofits across a range of
funding areas.
Donor Advised Fund
A Donor-Advised Fund is a flexible charitable tool that enables donors to receive an immediate tax benefit for their contributions, and allows them to support the nonprofit agencies they care about over time.
Monthly Grant Writing
Our Donor-Advised Fund will be used for consistent grant giving to Nonprofits locally. This creates a reliable funding source that can be used to expand the band width for a nonprofit efforts.

Meet Our Team
Jarrod Ferstl - Founder & CEO
Jarrod is known for his outside the box thinking. He is dedicated to creating systems that support unprivileged communities and serve his clients at the highest level. Through his time in the insurance industry, he has created relationships and partnerships with subject matter experts in the Medicare, Life Insurance, Annuity, and Employee Benefits space. His network of insurance professionals has combined experience of over 50 years! He is a social worker at heart and has choosing to enhance that passion through the idea of Capitalism for Community.
Dan Spiegel - COO
Dan is known to create highly engaged teams that effectively solve problems. Proven personal drive for professional development, continuing education and enhancing skills. Passionate about quickly evaluating how to improve processes and team performance through individual engagement and effective interactions. With an entrepreneurial drive and corporate success, Dan will be vital in creating and facilitating a team that will serve our clients and our community at the highest level. He is a "Team Building Problem Solver" and will be instrumental in our growth!
